Job summary

Romac Logistics is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for a full-time, permanent role based in Motherwell. The position operates nights on a 4 on 4 off pattern, with hours from 06:00 to 18:00. The role includes overseeing receipt, storage and despatch of stock, while driving health & safety and performance metrics.

You will lead a team, ensure customer service targets are met, and promote a hands-on, collaborative work environment. Benefits include training and progression opportunities.

• Previous experience in Warehousing/Cold store environments.

Responsibilities

• Achieve industry-leading KPIs in Health & Safety, service and performance.
• Manage all aspects of receipt, handling and despatch of stock.
• Monitor sickness and absence using effective management skills.
• Ensure health & safety requirements and events are managed for a safe workplace.
• Handle customer service requests efficiently.
• Drive a can-do culture with a hands-on approach.
• Develop and mentor team members.
• Ensure smooth and timely handover of duties.

Salary: £14.00 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible in achieving Industry leading KPI’s in Health & Safety, service, and performance.
• Managing all aspects of the receipt, handling, and despatch of stock.
• Monitor sickness and absence through effective Management skills.
• Accountable for Health & safety requirements and events in the workplace to ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and Contractors.
• Ensure all customer service requests are dealt with efficiently.
• Driving a can-do culture by adopting a hands-on approach.
• Develop and mentor members of your team.
• Ensure a smooth and timely handover is executed.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience of Warehousing/Cold store environment.
• You must be a strong communicator, who is able to prioritise tasks in a timely organised manner.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate must be proficient with Microsoft packages and WMS systems.
• Ability to work well with others.
