Hours: 8am - 4.15pm (Monday-Thursday) 8am-3pm (Friday)

Role Overview
As Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and accurately. The main purpose of the role is to support production and customer delivery requirements through effective stock control, efficient material flow, and the leadership of a Warehouse Operative.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking and dispatch.
- Ensure all goods are booked in, inspected and stored correctly.
- Use warehouse/ERP systems to manage stock, transactions and traceability.
- Ensure optimal stock levels and minimise excess/obsolete stock.
- Manage kitting of materials to support production schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and KPI reporting (accuracy, turns, value), Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Control FIFO, batch, serialisation and shelf-life requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities.
- Train and develop staff; ensuring full coverage of warehouse functions.
- Conduct appraisals and support personal development plan.
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Enforce use of PPE and safe operation of warehouse equipment.
- Carry out safety checks on warehouse equipment and ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks).
- Support lean practices and waste reduction initiatives.
- Optimise warehouse layout and material flow to support production efficiency.
- Maintain and improve warehouse processes, SOPs, and system accuracy.
- Drive improvements in picking efficiency and stock accuracy.
- Support shipping documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience in warehouse supervision or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of stock control systems and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good IT skills (Excel, Word).
- Understanding of health & safety and warehouse best practices.
- Experience in working in the electronics/manufacturing industry.
- Forklift licence.
- Willingness to train, and develop
