Job summary

Burch Recruitment is partnering with a leading logistics client in Slough to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor for an afternoon/evening shift. You will lead a team, oversee daily operations, and drive efficiency in storage, picking, packing and shipping.

You'll ensure safety compliance, optimise layouts, monitor stock levels, and collaborate with other departments to meet order deadlines. Prior supervisory experience and knowledge of WMS are essential; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of WMS and inventory software.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certification preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Conduct regular audits and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
