Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations at the Coventry site. You will lead a warehouse team on goods in/out, storage, picking and dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries.

The role requires warehouse experience, prior supervision, and a valid counterbalance forklift licence. Strong health & safety knowledge and excellent communication are essential for success in this hands-on leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Lead, motivate, and support warehouse colleagues to maintain high-performance standards.
• Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, and dispatch activities.
• Allocate workload and manage priorities to meet delivery deadlines.
• Conduct stock checks and audits, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Manage documentation and ensure operational accuracy.
• Work closely with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
• Identify and address performance or process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures.

Salary: £35,000- £37,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus & benefits

Hours: 45 hours, Monday-Friday

The Warehouse Supervisor role

As our Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.

This is a hands-on leadership role – you’ll lead by example on the warehouse floor while supporting, motivating, and developing your team to deliver against operational targets and service expectations.
