Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations at Bayton Road Industrial Estate, Exhall, Coventry. You will ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while developing your team to meet targets and service levels.

The role offers a 45-hour week, a salary of £35,000-£37,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and benefits, within a supportive, market-leading distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of goods in/out processes.
• Valid forklift licence (counterbalance essential).
• Good knowledge of health & safety practices.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Lead, motivate, and support warehouse colleagues to maintain high-performance standards
• Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, and dispatch activities
• Allocate workload and manage priorities to meet delivery deadlines
• Conduct stock checks and audits, maintaining accurate inventory records
• Manage documentation and ensure operational accuracy
• Work closely with internal teams to meet customer requirements
• Identify and address performance or process improvements
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
