Howdens is seeking a proactive Warehouse Person in Nuneaton to join a fast-paced, team-focused depot. You will manage deliveries, maintain stock accuracy and uphold high safety standards while supporting trade customers with a professional service.

The role emphasises independence, reliability and strong organisational skills, with a 40-hour week and a focus on tidy, efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence desirable.
• Good understanding of stock control and health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with stock and records.
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management skills.
• Customer focused approach with a friendly and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock accurately to health and safety standards.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and equipment inspections.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch with accuracy.
• Perform regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and efficient through stock rotation.
• Support trade customers with a helpful service and assist with deliveries and collections.
• Work closely with the depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
