Howdens Joinery is recruiting for a Warehouse Person to support a fast-paced, stock‑driven depot. You will unload deliveries, maintain accurate stock records and help ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations for trade customers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail and a strong health & safety culture, with a 40-hour week and a range of benefits designed to reward reliable, hands-on work in a depot environment.

Formación

• Valid forklift licence is desirable.
• Good understanding of stock control and health and safety.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail when handling stock and keeping records.
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Unload deliveries and check stock accurately in line with health and safety standards.
• Carry out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Complete regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and efficient through stock rotation.
• Support trade customers with a professional and helpful service.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Work closely with the depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
