Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Warehouse Person to join our UK depot team. You will ensure stock is accurately received, stored and prepared for dispatch, while maintaining high health and safety standards in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

You will unload deliveries, perform forklift checks, and help keep stock organised and ready for collection or delivery. A valid forklift licence is desirable, and a customer-focused, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock in line with health and safety standards.
• Carry out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and efficient with stock rotation.
• Support trade customers with a professional and helpful service.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Work closely with the depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
