Job summary

Howdens is seeking a Warehouse Person at Isleworth to unload deliveries, manage stock and keep the warehouse safe and efficient. You will work closely with the depot team to prepare stock for dispatch and assist with deliveries, ensuring accuracy and customer service.

You will need to be detail-oriented, reliable and able to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong health and safety standards. A forklift licence is desirable but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• A valid forklift licence is desirable.
• Good understanding of stock control and health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with stock and records.
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management skills.
• Customer-focused, with a friendly and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock in line with health and safety standards.
• Carry out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and efficient with proper stock rotation.
• Support trade customers with a professional service.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with the depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
