Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is hiring for a site-based role in Middlesbrough. You will unload and load parcels, sort them for the correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers.

We expect good attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 30 kg, and a friendly, customer-focused approach. Overtime is paid; benefits include pension, holiday entitlement, medical cover and more within Royal Mail Group.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 10 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is week 1 Mon-Tue, 16:00-20:00, week 2 Wed-Fri, 16:00-20:00

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, 4-6 Raleigh Court, Cleveland, Middlesbrough - TS2 1RA

Why this role pays off:

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• o Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
