Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is hiring at Manchester Stakehill. The role offers a starting salary of £25,201 per year with overtime and full-time hours.

You'll unload, load and sort parcels and prepare trailers for drivers, delivering a friendly, dependable service. Night shift allowance and additional benefits are included.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address.

Hours: 8 ((zworkinghours and days)), with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday only, 00:12-07:12.

Why this role pays off:

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

What you'll be doing

• Unloading / Loading parcels
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail

What we're looking for

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Someone with good attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
