Job summary

Martin Brower UK & Ireland is seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor for a 6-month secondment in Darlington. This full-time, on-site role focuses on coordinating daily warehouse operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting Shift Managers.

You will work closely with Team Leaders and Operatives to ensure clear communication, drive performance, and foster a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or managing teams within a warehouse, logistics, or FMCG environment.
• Organised, detail-oriented, able to balance priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable learning and using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities to help meet targets and KPIs.
• Work with Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives to communicate priorities.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety, food safety, hygiene, and audit requirements.
• Utilise warehouse systems to ensure efficient stock management and performance.
• Provide cover for Warehouse Shift Managers during absences.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, safety, service and team effectiveness.
