Job summary

Martin Brower UK & Ireland is seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities, support Team Leaders and Operatives, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across the operation.

You will help manage workloads, assist with stock management systems, and cover for Shift Managers, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or managing teams within a warehouse, logistics, or FMCG environment.
• Able to build positive working relationships and help colleagues achieve shared goals.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and are comfortable learning and using warehouse management systems.
• Promote safe working practices and understand the importance of compliance, quality, and operational standards.
• Confident in supporting performance conversations, coaching colleagues, and encouraging continuous improvement.
• Experience in a unionised environment or formal leadership training would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities to help achieve targets and KPIs.
• Work with Team Leaders and Operatives to ensure priorities and workload plans are communicated.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety, food safety, hygiene, and audits.
• Support effective use of warehouse systems and processes for stock management.
• Assist in maintaining high standards across loading, quality inspections, and housekeeping.
• Provide support and cover for Warehouse Shift Managers during absences.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, safety, service, and team effectiveness.
