Job summary

Martin Brower, a global leader in supply chain and logistics, is hiring a Warehouse Team Leader for nights in Heywood. You will lead daily operations, support Team Leaders and Operatives, and ensure safety, quality and performance targets are met.

You will oversee compliance, promote a collaborative culture, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high standards across all warehouse areas.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting teams within a warehouse, logistics, FMCG, or similar operational environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a unionised environment and knowledge of HR processes would be beneficial.
• Committed to safety, quality, inclusion and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate daily warehouse activities to achieve operational targets and KPIs.
• Provide guidance and support to Team Leaders and colleagues, ensuring priorities and expectations are clearly communicated across the shift.
• Help maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, employment legislation, quality processes, and company standards.
• Monitor WMS and processes to ensure efficient and accurate performance.
• Promote a clean, organised and safe working environment across freezer, chill and dry areas.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations and other support teams to resolve issues.
• Encourage continuous improvement by sharing ideas and supporting development.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play an important role in leading daily warehouse operations, supporting Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives to achieve operational goals safely, efficiently, and collaboratively.
