Job summary

iForce, part of the Culina Group, is seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor for Bardon, Leicestershire. The role is full-time and permanent, with rotating shifts from 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, 37.5 hours per week, and a salary of £31,000 per year plus overtime.

You will supervise warehouse operations, lead teams, and maintain high performance and safety standards across two sites while ensuring KPI targets and SLA commitments are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse operations across shifts, ensuring productivity, service, and quality targets are met.
• Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse colleagues and Team Leaders to drive performance.
• Maintain health, safety, and company policy compliance at all times.
• Plan daily shift briefings and communicate priorities and updates.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective action to meet objectives.
• Oversee stock control, including cycle counts and inventory accuracy across two sites.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate labour resources to meet demand and service levels.
• Support training and performance development of team members.
• Ensure WMS transactions and inventory records are accurate.

Here you will be responsible for supervising operations, leading teams to deliver excellent performance, service, and operational standards in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Job Description

Shift: Monday to Friday, rotational shifts, start times between 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £31,000 per annum plus overtime paid at time and half

Your job duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse operations across assigned shifts, ensuring productivity, service, and quality targets are consistently achieved.
• Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse colleagues and Team Leaders, promoting a high-performance culture and driving engagement across the team.
• Maintaining high standards of people compliance through proactive team management, employee accountability, and disciplinary case management.
• Plan daily shift briefings, communicating business updates, operational priorities, safety messages, and performance expectations.
• Monitor and manage shift KPIs, taking corrective action where required to ensure departmental objectives are met.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and company policies, promoting safe working practices at all times.
• Oversee stock control activities, including cycle counts, inventory checks, and stock validation processes to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy across two sites.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages, and inventory variances, implementing corrective and preventative actions where necessary.
• Coordinate labour resources effectively to meet changing operational demands while maintaining efficiency and service levels.
• Support the training, development, and performance management of team members, identifying opportunities to improve capability and succession planning.
• Ensure Warehouse Management System (WMS) transactions are completed accurately and inventory records remain up to date.
• Monitor workflow across inbound, storage, replenishment, picking, and dispatch functions to ensure service level agreements are achieved.
• Conduct regular operational audits and warehouse inspections to maintain compliance, accuracy, and operational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and improve overall warehouse performance.
• Manage escalations and operational issues during the shift, liaising with other departments to minimise disruption to customer service.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation throughout the warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required, providing operational leadership and decision-making support.
