Pay Rate: £33,652.50 (plus additional night shift premium)

Grade: RCS L

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday, Night shift 10pm - 6am

Location: Doncaster - DN8 4HT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrable understanding of warehouse procedures, including the storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

1. Manage and oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse operational processes and personnel requirements through effective leadership, supporting the Site Manager in achieving site KPIs & cost budget objectives.
2. Ensure all customer requirements are met and operational performance is maintained at required levels to meet company and customer expectations.
3. Analyze and understand health and safety risks for colleagues, taking action to reduce or eliminate risks according to a prioritised plan.
4. Take responsibility for managing and operating a safe environment and fostering a Safety First Culture among all individuals by applying and improving Safety Standards.
5. Lead a continuous improvement culture in line with H&S guidelines, site procedures, and processes.

3. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
4. Experience leading change management initiatives and driving continuous improvement processes.
5. People management skills, including conducting performance reviews, health reviews, back-to-work assessments, and grievances.
