£33,652.50 (plus additional night shift premium)

Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday Night shift 10pm - 6am

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.

What does the role entail?

• Manage and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse operations and staffing through effective leadership, supporting the Site Manager in achieving site KPIs and budget objectives.
• Ensure all customer requirements are met and operational performance levels are maintained to satisfy company and customer expectations.
• Analyze and understand health and safety risks for colleagues, taking action to reduce or eliminate these risks according to a prioritised plan.
• Lead a safety-first culture by applying and improving safety standards, managing a safe operation.
• Promote continuous improvement in line with H&S guidelines, site procedures, and processes.

What do we need from you?

• Proven experience in FMCG Warehouse Operations Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience leading change management initiatives and driving continuous improvement processes.
• People management skills, including conducting performance reviews, health reviews, back-to-work assessments, and handling grievances.
