Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Shift Manager to lead our Warehouse operations, ensuring the right products are picked efficiently and sent to stores on time. You will manage Team Managers and Warehouse Colleagues, schedule shifts, and drive continuous improvement.

Role requires proven people leadership, coaching ability, and experience with WMS systems such as JDA. You’ll be responsible for budgetary control and delivering strong results through the team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Shift Manager or equivalent in a fast-paced Warehouse, Distribution or Logistics environment.
• Proven experience in people management with the ability to deliver strong results through a team.
• Ability to coach and encourage your team and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift activities and rotas to meet labour requirements.
• Oversee resources to deliver objectives and monitor spend.
• Provide problem solving guidance and coaching to the team.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the teams.
• Lead Team Manager performance and development.
