Job summary

Morrisons in Leeds is seeking an Operations Manager to lead from the front, deputising for the Store Manager and building a high-performing, inclusive team. You will drive standards, safety, and daily operations while coaching department managers to deliver exceptional service and results.

With a proactive, customer-focused mindset, you will analyse store data, optimise resources, and champion continuous improvements to keep shelves well-stocked and customers supported across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower the team: Build management capability across the store, mentoring talent and supporting department heads with clear plans to help them grow.
• Keep standards high, safe, and legal: Act as the store's expert on safe and legal standards, ensuring food safety laws, hygiene, and daily routines are delivered properly every shift.
• Drive sales and availability: Use your commercial mindset to review store data, spot opportunities, and manage resources so our shelves are always well-stocked for our customers.
• Listen and improve: Work to support teams through change, listening directly to customer feedback and acting on it to keep making our daily service better.
