Job summary

InstaStaff are recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for a manufacturing company based in Aston. You will oversee warehouse operatives, coordinate daily operations and ensure goods are processed efficiently. The role requires forklift experience, stock control knowledge and a proactive approach to safety. You will liaise with GM, Sales, Operations and Transport to maintain service levels, with rotating shifts and a circa £35,000 salary depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a warehouse or yard.
• Strong understanding of stock control procedures.
• Ability to motivate staff and coordinate daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse operatives to ensure efficient daily operation.
• Identify, store and dispatch incoming/outgoing materials correctly.
• Allocate work and monitor performance to meet daily targets.
• Ensure safe practices and forklift operations are followed.
• Maintain stock accuracy and correct movements in stock system.
• Coordinate loading/unloading and ensure loads are secure.
• Prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
• Support training and development of warehouse staff.
• Work with GM, Sales, Operations and Quality to resolve issues.
• Promote continuous improvement and efficient use of stock.
