Logistics done differently

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Repack Manager to lead a busy 24/5 operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, supported by three supervisors, ensuring the delivery of high levels of quality and service to meet customer requirements. The role involves overseeing stock control of parent stock and finished goods, managing the ordering and inventory of operational consumables and equipment, and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and internal support functions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for producing accurate and timely operational reports while driving efficiency and service excellence across the operation.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum. In addition, you’ll receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy additional days. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, work instructions, maintenance requirements, and performance expectations.
  • Oversee daily operational performance, reporting on outputs and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and operational teams to maximise performance and engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, manage employee relations matters, and support career development opportunities.
  • Develop a multi-skilled workforce through effective training, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Identify and nurture talent within the team to support future business growth and capability.
  • Foster a culture of engagement by encouraging colleague feedback and maintaining clear, consistent communication.
  • Manage labour and resource planning to ensure operational requirements are met efficiently, including holiday and overtime scheduling.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of operational objectives.
What You Need To Succeed At XPO
  • Previous experience of Managing teams and Team Leadership
  • Practical knowledge of CI tools and techniques.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • IT literate
  • Able to collaborate and influence, peers and senior management to drive progress and achieve desired results
  • Ability to manage people performance, coaching and development of a team
  • Basic financial awareness, understanding of business drivers, budgeting processes.
  • Ability to analyse data and revie trends.
  • Excellent time management skills.
Desirable
  • Further education in around chosen profession undergraduate level.
  • Experience in third party logistics, Transport and food manufacturing environment
  • IOSH Managing Safety
  • Demonstration of continual growth through further education.
  • Ability to build and continuously develop effective teams.
  • Experience of change management and implementation of CI standard
