Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Transport Administrator to support a busy transport operation at East Midlands Gateway - Derby. You will play a key role in coordinating transport activities, updating systems, and ensuring accurate administration and reporting.

Ideal candidates will have strong IT skills, particularly Excel, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within transport, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the transport team.
• Process and maintain transport documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Update and manage transport management systems and internal databases.
• Monitor driver paperwork and ensure compliance records are maintained.
• Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding deliveries and collections.
• Produce reports, KPIs, and operational data for management teams.
