Job summary

All Square Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Warehouse Picker Packer on a temporary basis in Braintree, Essex. The role involves picking, packing, and stock organisation in a busy warehouse, using a handheld scanner and working in a supportive team.

You will log items with a handheld scanner, ensure accuracy, and contribute to on-time distribution with well-structured daytime hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring order accuracy at all times.
• Use a hand scanner to log and track items efficiently on a busy pack bench.
• Safely and efficiently pack products ready for dispatch, maintaining quality standards throughout.
• Organise and maintain stock within the warehouse to support a safe, tidy, and productive working environment.
• Collaborate closely with a friendly, fast-paced warehouse team to help meet daily distribution targets.
• Work efficiently under pressure while consistently upholding high standards of accuracy and care.
• Support the wider warehouse and distribution team with general picking, packing, and inventory duties as required.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, picking and packing, or distribution environment is highly desirable.
• Confidence using a hand scanner, or a willingness to learn, on a fast-moving pack bench.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and accurate approach to order picking.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Good communication skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
