Job summary

Pertemps Liverpool is recruiting for a Warehouse Order Picker at a chilled distribution centre in Haydock. You will pick customer orders with handheld scanners, pack goods, and prepare stock for dispatch in a temperature-controlled environment.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:00, start date is immediate. DBS and drug and alcohol screening are required; training can be provided for those without full experience, and the role is an ongoing temporary contract.

Job description

This temporary Warehouse Order Picker role in Haydock offers £13.41 to £20.11 hourly, working Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00, with immediate starts.

Based at a chilled distribution centre, the successful candidate will pick customer orders using handheld scanners, pack goods, and prepare stock for dispatch.

Moving items with pallet trucks forms part of daily duties within a temperature-controlled setting.

Applicants must pass a DBS check plus drug and alcohol screening. Accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work quickly under supervision are essential. Previous picking experience suits this position, though training may be given. The contract runs on an ongoing basis through Pertemps Liverpool.

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• PPT experience is advantageous but full training can be provided
• Good communication and basic numeracy skills
