Job summary

ADM is seeking a Warehouse and Packing Operative in Tilbury, Essex. The role focuses on safety, operating carousel packers, palletisers and shrink wrap, and moving goods with a FLT across the site. Cleaning and hygiene duties are included as part of daily operations.

Candidate will operate packing machines, maintain stock rotation, and keep thorough records for performance and compliance, while adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Fork Lift Truck License (Counter Balance).
• Shunter vehicle experience.
• Manual handling training.
• Food safety.
• Health and Safety.
• Capable of lifting 16kg to 25kg regularly.
• Able to sustain periods of up to 4 hours standing.
• Qualified to drive and operate a FLT.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packing machines.
• Ensure all areas operate efficiently and meet targets.
• Ensure stock is rotated.
• Report plant faults for maintenance of packing/warehouse plant.
• Maintain accurate records for performance and hygiene.
• Undertake necessary training to fulfil job requirements.
• Ensure Health and Safety under company guidelines and current legislation.
• Ensure product safety through careful process line management and handling.
