Job summary

Direct Table Foods in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a full-time fixed-term contract ending January 2027. You will wrap pallets, pick stock, load/unload lorries, replenish and store goods, issue packaging to production, and assist with stock checks and HACCP/health and safety duties.

Training will be provided for High Reach forklift and pallet truck licenses. Overtime is available at time and a half on eligible shifts; location offers a canteen and free parking.

Responsibilities

• Wrapping pallets
• Picking stock for customers
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Replenishment and put away around the Warehouses
• Issuing and transferring packaging to production
• Issuing Packaging batch numbers
• Checking and counting delivered stock
• Stock checking generally
• Stock taking
• Champion Health and Safety
• Support the supply chain functions
• High Reach Forklift Truck License (Training will be given)
• Pallet truck License (Training will be given)
