Job summary

Maldon Salt Ltd in Essex is hiring a Warehouse Operative on a 12 month fixed-term contract with rotating shifts. You will store, pick, pack and dispatch goods, operate the Counterbalance FLT, and help keep a clean, safe warehouse in line with site standards.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will receive deliveries, organise stock, and ensure documentation is accurate. The role requires compliance with health and safety and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Practical experience of working in a high speed FMCG manufacturing operation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and HSE processes and legislation.
• Experience of driving Counterbalance FLT with a valid licence.
• Valid driving licence to drive on public highways.
• Understanding of working with scanners is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive Counterbalance FLT regularly and perform daily FLT checks.
• Carry out product picking in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support packing room and maintain stock rotation.
• Ensure goods are loaded/unloaded safely and documented.
• Maintain site health, safety and hygiene procedures.
