Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Warehouse Operator/Storekeeper to join the Central Stores team in Portlethen, Aberdeen. The role is an initial 6-month contract with potential extension. The position pays £15 per hour, with 37.5 hours per week from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, inventory control, picking and packing, keeping accurate documentation, and supporting stock counts. Forklift experience is beneficial, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or materials environment.
• Good attention to detail, particularly when receiving and checking inventory.
• Reliable and organized approach to stock control and material handling.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety, housekeeping and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive supplier deliveries and check items against packing lists or purchase orders.
• Inspect, label, receive, store, pick, pack, issue and dispose of inventory per procedures.
• Complete cycle counts and support periodic physical stock counts.
• Ensure outgoing materials are accurately packed with complete documentation.
• Maintain organized storage locations to support efficient handling and stock control.
• Support kitting and Kanban replenishment.
• Investigate and resolve inventory/warehouse issues.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in warehouse and shipping areas.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment after training and certification.
• Follow company policies, procedures and QHSE requirements.
