Job summary

GAC Group in Aberdeen is hiring a Warehouse Operator to join our team. You will handle goods in, pick, pack and ship for North Sea and international freight, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will liaise with logistics colleagues, clients, and warehouse staff to ensure requirements are met and cargo is safely stored and delivered. Training for forklift duties may be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Attention to detail.
• Desire to continually improve.
• Counterbalance forklift licence (not essential; training can be arranged).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all activity is carried out to high standards with a proactive QHSSE approach.
• Liaise with logistics colleagues, warehouse and clients to ensure requirements are met.
• Ensure cargo is safely handled and stored.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Goods in, line checking and put away – using in-house stock management system.
• Complete pick and pack for North Sea and international freight.
• Pack and secure containers for shipping.
• Forklift duties – loading/unloading and put away.
• Manage emails and Teams messages to process requests.
