Job summary

Saica Pack in Livingston is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Administrator to join our team. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with stock control and administrative tasks, supported by a forklift licence and familiarity with WMS and stock systems.

You will ensure goods are received, stored, checked, and dispatched accurately, while maintaining precise records and smooth operational administration in a growing packaging business. A permanent, full-time opportunity with benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Truck Licence.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or stock control systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience within warehousing, logistics, distribution, or FMCG environments.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking, and booking stock into warehouse systems.
• Processing stock movements and inventory transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Supporting stock control activities, including cycle counts and stock investigations.
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records and documentation.
• Processing delivery paperwork, goods receipt notes, dispatch documentation, and customer paperwork.
• Liaising with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and third‑party logistics providers.
• Ordering operational consumables such as pallets, labels, and stretch wrap.
• Assisting with pallet account management and control processes.
• Reporting stock discrepancies, shortages, damages, and operational issues to management.
• Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
