Job summary

Saica Group is hiring a Warehouse Operative/Administrator in Livingston to support loading, stock control and admin tasks in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will operate forklifts, receive goods, book stock in WMS, perform cycle counts, liaise with 3PL providers, and maintain accurate records using Excel and Outlook.

NVQ Mathematics is preferred; prior warehouse experience is essential, and you will work within a safety-focused team that values accuracy and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certificate.
• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Experience with WMS or stock control systems.
• Experience working with 3PL providers.
• Experience completing transport, dispatch, stock or inventory administration.
• Good numeracy and literacy.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience working within FMCG, logistics, warehousing, or distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking, and booking stock into warehouse systems.
• Completing stock movements and inventory transactions accurately within warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Supporting stock control activities including cycle counts and inventory investigations.
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records and operational documentation.
• Processing delivery paperwork, goods receipt notes, dispatch documentation, and customer paperwork.
• Liaising with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers as required.
• Ordering consumables including pallets, stretch wrap, labels, and other operational supplies.
• Assisting with the management of pallet accounts and pallet control processes.
• Monitoring and communicating stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and operational issues to the Warehouse Office and Management Team.
