Job summary

Saica Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support loading, receiving, stock control, and goods dispatch inside a fast-paced logistics environment. The role focuses on accurate WMS entries, inventory checks, and coordination with 3PL providers.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certificate.
• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or stock control systems.
• Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Experience completing transport, dispatch, stock, or inventory-related administration.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking, and booking stock into warehouse systems.
• Completing stock movements and inventory transactions accurately within warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Supporting stock control activities including cycle counts and inventory investigations.
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records and operational documentation.
• Processing delivery paperwork, goods receipt notes, dispatch documentation, and customer paperwork.
• Liaising with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers as required.
• Ordering consumables including pallets, stretch wrap, labels, and other operational supplies.
• Assisting with the management of pallet accounts and pallet control processes.
• Monitoring and communicating stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and operational issues.
