Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative and FLT Driver (Counterbalance B1) in Dundee. This temporary role offers a competitive hourly rate and potential progression within a large manufacturing operation.

You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, move materials, and support production with accurate stock handling. Day shift responsibility and immediate start available, with potential long-term opportunities depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT (B1) licence is essential.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse or production environments preferred.
• Strong health and safety practices and proactive work ethic required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and per site procedures.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods across the site.
• Support production by ensuring timely materials supply.
• Load, unload and store goods in designated areas and maintain stock records.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required.

Location: Dundee

Pay Rate: 13.60 per hour

Hours: 36-37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday - Overtime potentially available

Contract: Temporary, with potential for long-term or permanent opportunity

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced FLT Driver to join a fast-paced and well-established manufacturing operation in Dundee.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled forklift driver seeking stability, structured training and clear opportunities for progression. You will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials and finished goods are handled safely, accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and in line with site procedures
• Transport raw materials and finished products across the site
• Support production teams by ensuring materials are supplied as required
• Load, unload and store goods in designated areas
• Maintain accurate stock handling and movement records
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT (B1) licence - essential
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or production environment
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices
• Reliable, proactive and able to demonstrate a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Shift Pattern

• Day Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm
