Job summary

Ideal Recruit is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client in Doncaster DN1. You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, load/unload goods, pick orders and ensure safe storage and housekeeping in a busy warehouse.

The role offers a 4-on/3-off shift pattern with 7am-7pm hours and £13.00 per hour. Temp to perm contract; regular weekends on a rota; adherence to health and safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence required.
• Experience operating a forklift and loading/unloading goods.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods.
• Move and store stock in the warehouse.
• Pick and prepare orders for despatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Check stock and report discrepancies.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely.
• Keep the warehouse and working areas clean and organised.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
• Meet daily production and performance targets.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team.
• Carry out general warehouse duties when required.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the Team Leader.

Job Description

As a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Moving and storing stock around the warehouse.
• Picking and preparing orders for despatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Checking stock and reporting any discrepancies.
• Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely.
• Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean and organised.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
