Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is recruiting for a Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative for a Deeside-based manufacturing business. You will ensure safe receipt, storage and supply of materials to production while maintaining housekeeping and safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence, have warehouse/manufacturing experience, and can work in a fast-paced environment. The role offers permanent, full-time hours with a rotating shift pattern and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills would be advantageous.
• Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive and manage deliveries at the warehouse.
• Ensure all delivery drivers comply with site health & safety procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles accurately and safely using a forklift truck.
• Store raw materials in the correct warehouse locations.
• Supply raw materials to production in a timely manner.
• Liaise with suppliers and waste collection companies.
• Arrange waste collections as required.
• Carry out regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Communicate effectively with production and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Operate and carry out basic maintenance checks on balers, including rewiring when required.
• Provide support to the goods In the department when needed.
• Follow all company health & safety and quality procedures.

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: The role operates on a three-shift rotating pattern:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
• 10:00pm - 6:00am, Monday to Thursday

Salary: Competitive (DOE)
