Job summary

THX Ltd is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to support the organisation of hire equipment at the THX Ltd Warehouse in the UK. You will assist with restocking, loading/unloading, and recording equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will join a team that values clear communication, attention to detail and a proactive attitude. The role requires manual handling, relevance to PAT/testing preparation, and a willingness to support multiple warehouse functions.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning, organising and tidying in a busy warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a team-focused role.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks.
• Proactive, reliable and safety-conscious with good time management.
• Comfort with computer-based records and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Re-stocking hire equipment in warehouse and yard safely and efficiently.
• Picking hire equipment for loading.
• Loading and unloading equipment as required.
• In-fleeting new equipment, applying THX branding and fleet numbers, recording in THX system for PAT/testing and calibration.
• Maintain clean, tidy and organised warehouse areas, supporting a positive work environment.
• Clean equipment (including pressure washing) and rebrand with THX stickers.
• Record keeping using computer systems accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide support to Warehouse, Workshop and Transport teams as needed.

Job description

This role is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient organisation of hire equipment through the THX Ltd Warehouse.

Working Hours: 12.00pm - 10.00pm

Key responsibilities

- Re-stocking hire equipment in the Warehouse and yard, ensuring they are done so safely and in the correct area within the yard for efficiency

- Picking hire equipment ready for loading

- Loading and unloading hire equipment

- In-fleeting of new equipment, adding THX branding and fleet numbers, recording these correctly and setting them up in the THX system to enable pat-testing and in-house calibration

- Ensuring all areas of the warehouse is kept clean and tidy and maintain an organised working environment

- Clean hire equipment, including pressure washing

- Rebranding new equipment with relevant THX stickers

- Ensuring accurate records are kept using the computer-based system

- Provide support to Warehouse, Workshop and Transport teams as and when required

Person specification

Essential

- Previous hands-on experience of cleaning, organising and tidying in a busy warehouse role.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Good attention to detail whilst going repetitive tasks.

- A proactive and can-do attitude towards to tasks.

- Strong time-management skills with the ability to work quickly and methodically

- Supportive, motivated and reliable team-player.
