Job summary

THX Ltd is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our afternoon/evening team in Great Barford. The role involves restocking, picking, loading, and logging equipment, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

You will support multiple teams and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse while working 12.00pm - 10.00pm, Monday to Friday. On-site parking is available, with opportunities for on-the-job training and career growth.

THX is a fast-growing tool hire business serving the UK construction industry, and we're looking for a reliable, hands‑on Warehouse Operative to join our afternoon/evening team in Great Barford. If you like being active, working with your hands, and being part of a close-knit team, this could be a great next step.

Working Hours: 12.00pm - 10.00pm Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

• Restocking and organising hire equipment across the warehouse and yard safely

Essential

• Previous hands‑on experience of working in a busy warehouse environment.
• A proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable working at pace in a physical, hands‑on role
• Good attention to detail, even with repetitive tasks
• A reliable and motivated team player
• A safety‑first approach to work
• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to work safely, quickly and methodically
• Comfortable using computers/handheld devices for stock systems

Desirable

• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety standards

• Valid FLT licence
