Job summary

The Best Connection Group in Pontypool is recruiting a Warehouse Despatch Operator for a major food manufacturing operation. You will pick, pack and despatch orders, support deliveries and help maintain stock accuracy in a busy logistics environment.

The role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern from 19:00 to 07:00 with a competitive hourly rate. Temp-to-perm opportunities and training are provided to progress within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
• Previous warehouse, despatch or forklift experience is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for despatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and warehouse locations remain organised.
• Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Completing paperwork and records accurately.
• Working to daily targets while maintaining quality and safety.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Despatch Operator to join a major food manufacturing operation in the Pontypool area. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market-leading business with an outstanding reputation, supplying products to some of the UK's best-known retailers.

This is a hands-on warehouse role where you'll play a key part in ensuring products are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time. Working within a busy logistics operation, you'll help maintain stock accuracy, support customer deliveries and contribute to the smooth running of the warehouse.

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• 19:00 to 07:00
• £15.73 per hour
