Job summary

The Best Connection Group is recruiting a Warehouse Despatch Operator for a major food manufacturing operation in the Pontypool area. This hands-on role focuses on accurate picking, packing and despatch, helping maintain stock accuracy and timely deliveries within a busy logistics environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, at £15.00 per hour. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is required; prior warehouse experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
• Previous warehouse, despatch, logistics or forklift experience is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for despatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
