Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operative for night shifts in Doncaster. The role involves preparing orders, sorting inventory, and assisting with loading/unloading, while maintaining accuracy and efficient admin tasks.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 22:00 to 06:00, with a focus on team collaboration, safety, and operational targets. A forklift counterbalance licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse order preparation and packing.
• Familiar with inventory processes and stock counting.
• Counterbalance forklift experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to shift patterns.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery on schedule.
• Sort and place materials on racks.
• Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and paperwork.
• Count stock and verify locations.
• Perform admin tasks using management systems.
• Maintain high accuracy and productivity; adapt to varied tasks and locations.
• Demonstrate a team mindset and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery according to schedule
• Sorting and placing materials/ items on to racks
• Assisting with the loading/unloading vehicles and completing associated paperwork
• Stock counting and location checks
• Completing admin tasks using management systems
• Working to a high standard of accuracy and productivity in all tasks
  Warehouse experience and understanding of inventory processes
• Counterbalance experience and licence is an advantage
• Team player with a \"one team\" mindset
