Job summary

GXO Logistics in Dartford is hiring permanent, full-time Warehouse Operatives for night shifts on 18:00–06:00, 4 on 4 off. You will join a growing leader in logistics and contribute to efficient order fulfillment.

You will work safely as part of a team, check stock, load vehicles and operate basic warehouse equipment, with opportunities for progression and a company pension. Benefits include holiday, discounts, and career development.

Qualifications

• Able to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Reliable, self-motivated and flexible in approach to work.
• Capable of reading instructions and counting accurately.
• Physically able to handle stock and use equipment safely.
• Previous warehouse experience or forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Check picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch.
• Ensure quality and stock handling to arrive in good condition.
• Load vehicles for customer deliveries.
• Operate basic warehouse and mechanical handling equipment safely.

You will be working18:00 - 06:00 on a 4 on 4 offshift pattern

What you will do on a typical day:

• Work safely as part of a team, following Health & Safety procedures

• Checking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch

• Ensuring quality is of the highest standards, and all stock is handled withcareso it arrives at our customers in perfect condition

• Loading vehicles ready for customer deliveries

• Operate basic warehouse and mechanical handling equipment safely

• Support warehouse efficiency through general housekeeping duties

What you need to succeed at GXO:
