DPD UK is recruiting a Warehouse Operative at our Bridgwater site. This permanent, 40-hour-per-week role keeps you on your feet as you load, unload, scan, and sort parcels with precision to deliver great service.

You will handle items up to 25kg, use scanners and conveyors, and follow safety and housekeeping standards while contributing to team targets and reliable shift attendance.

Job Description

• Contract Type: Permanent – 40 Hours Per Week
• Days of Work: 5 days per week

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift

You’ll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
