Job summary

DPD Group in the United Kingdom is seeking energetic Warehouse Operatives to join our fast-paced team. You will be on your feet throughout the shift, loading, unloading, scanning and sorting parcels with precision. Full training provided from day one, with uniform and PPE supplied.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading, scanning and sorting parcels with accuracy.
• Handling items up to 25 kg and staying physically active.

• Operating scanners, conveyors and handling equipment safely.
• Maintaining health, safety and housekeeping standards throughout the shift.
• Quality checks and reporting discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
• Collaborating with teammates to meet daily targets and shift goals.

Job Description

• Days of Work:Sunday - Thursday
• Hours of Work:06:30 - 12:30

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling andreporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
