Job summary

DPD Group UK is seeking Warehouse Operatives for night shifts at our depot. You will load/unload, scan, sort parcels, and operate warehouse tech and equipment in a fast-paced environment. The role offers full training from day one and a benefits package including health services and discounts.

Shifts are 5 days out of 7, 01:00–08:30, with overtime rewards and career progression opportunities within a growing carrier. This permanent part-time position emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift

Job Description

• Hours of Work: 01:00 - 08:30.

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling andreporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
