DPD Group UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a fast-paced role in the warehouse. You will load, unload, scan and sort parcels, and work with scanners and conveyors to ensure correct placement and timely delivery. The job requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 kg.

We offer full training from day one and uniform plus PPE. Join a team focused on sustainability, growth, and employee wellbeing with progression from warehouse to management roles.

Qualifications

• Willing to work Monday to Friday, 4pm–8pm.
• Reliable and works well in a team.

Job Description

• Days of Work:Monday to Friday
• Hours of Work:4pm-8pm Monday to Friday

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling andreporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
