Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics in Rotherham is seeking a Warehouse Operative for its National Distribution Centre. You will manage receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, keep a safe and clean workspace, and drive accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced operation.

This role involves lifting up to 20 kg, standing and walking for long periods, and using pallet trucks or forklifts (training provided). The shift runs 14:00–23:00 with a base rate of £12.71 per hour plus a £2.20 evening supplement

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred but not essential.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic IT skills for data entry and scanning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming goods for quality and quantity.
• Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided).
• Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure a clean, tidy work environment and adherence to safety regulations.

Location: Alliance Automotive Logistics, RotherhamReports To: First Line ManagerShift: Monday to Friday, 1400 - 2300Rate: £12.71 p/h plus supplement £2.20 supplement after 1800** 7th December starts on a permanent contract**As a Warehouse Operative at our National Distribution Centre in Rotherham, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
