Alliance Automotive Logistics in Rotherham is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our National Distribution Centre. You will handle receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, focusing on accuracy and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role involves physical tasks, lifting up to 20kg, standing/walking for long periods, and working shifts that may include evenings, nights or weekends. Full training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or distribution environments preferred but not essential.
• Able to lift up to 20kg and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork with strong attention to detail.
• Willing to work evenings, nights and weekends if required.
• Basic IT skills for data entry and scanning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming goods for quality and quantity.
• Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks and forklifts.
• Carry out stock checks and maintain inventory records.
• Assist with loading/unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Report discrepancies, damages or safety issues promptly.
• Follow all warehouse policies and safety procedures.
