Job summary

DPD UK is seeking high-energy Warehouse Operatives for Romsey, a fast-paced role in a leading sustainability-forward logistics business. You’ll be on your feet, loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels, handling items up to 25kg, and using warehouse technology to keep parcels moving.

This fixed-term contract runs until January 15th, 2027, 40 hours per week, five days with shifts starting after 12pm.

Job Description

• Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until January 15th 2027 – 40 Hours Per Week
• Days of Work: 5 days per week starting after 12pm

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
