Job summary

Wolseley Group in Melmerby is hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our UK-based operations. This full-time, day-shift role covers 40 hours per week and involves general warehouse duties, picking and packing, and safe loading/unloading of goods.

We offer a base salary of £25,027.20 with bonus potential and a range of benefits including annual leave, a matched pension, healthcare access, and cycle-to-work options. Experience with FLT licensing is preferred to help drive efficiency.

As a Warehouse Operative based in Melmerby you’ll be responsible for:

• General Warehouse duties.


• Picking and packing stock, which will involve some heavy lifting.


• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.


• Driving FLT Truck - Training may be provided.


• Ensuring the workplace is tidy and adheres to our health and safety procedures.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on the day shift.
