Job summary

Wolseley Group in Melmerby is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. You will handle general duties, picking and packing stock, and safely loading/unloading vehicles, with the possibility of FLT training to support operations.

The role offers a full-time, 40-hour week on the mid-shift schedule, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork to meet deadlines while contributing to a safe workplace and ongoing company benefits.

Qualifications

• FLT experience, ideally licenced.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Experience working in a warehouse.
• Able to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing stock, which will involve some heavy lifting.
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.
• Driving FLT Truck - Training may be provided.
• Ensuring the workplace is tidy and adheres to our health and safety procedures.

As a Warehouse Operative based in Melmerby you'll be responsible for:

• General Warehouse duties.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on the mid shift
